Embrace of the Night: A Musing on Solitude Under Starlight
Written by Miguel Santiago
-
In the cathedral of night, a silent tableau descends,
Glowing through the cosmic veil, the whisper of moonlight,
Tapestries of stars, stitched in the ebony blanket, a celestial lullaby,
Across this grand expanse, we find ourselves cradled in crystal solitude.
-
Alone, yet together, stitched into the fabric of our lonely corners,
A tandem dance with silence echoing within these cavernous hearts.
The resounding hum of solitude whispers a symphony,
Not a lament for the departed sun but an echo of our existence.
-
Midnight ponderings unfurl, serpents coiling in the abyss of thought,
Quantum leaps across abstract spaces where darkness holds no reign.
In this stillness, we thrive; we dive, diving into the deepest wells,
Seeking solace amidst the stars, comfort in our unbraiding shadows.
-
Yet within this dance, a duality exists – a sweet, sincere paradox,
Like ivy, loneliness clings, twisted and intertwining,
Yet it has a melody, a soothing balm, a moon-kissed lullaby,
