On the banks of silence
Written by Miguel Santiago
In the vast landscapes of our being, there is the domain of silence. A vastness packed by echoes of non-dictates and suppressed sighs, silence is both our refuge and our desert.
Silence has a skin we use as armour and a shield behind which we hide. He nestled into the breaches of our words, in the gaps between our conversations, filling them with layers of unexplored meaning. With its invisible strands, silence weaves a tapestry of non -express feelings, secret thoughts and a burning desire to be known.
In silence, there is a mirror for our inner self. Handicide reflections of our deeper desires and fears come to light, splashed by the weak and pale light of the stars that sparkle beyond silence. When we embrace the quiet, it throws us into a journey of self-discovery, where each step echoes our voice, an will of our uniqueness.
However, the territory of silence is not always quiet. For some, silence is surrounded by loneliness and desolation. Silence can be a muffled cry of anxiety, a dizzying abyss of isolation. The faces that use these silences carry invisible marks of internal battles, each scar a narrative of resilience and struggle.
On the stage of human relations, silence dances an unfinished waltz. Silence speaks of ellipses and lines in a dialogue of uncounted looks and smiles. This silence offers a warm hug of the proximity that connects hearts, creating an inaudible symphony of understanding and empathy.
