Tranquility of Anticipation
Mar 31, 2024
In the stillness of anticipation,
Time hangs suspended in hesitation.
A little black bear strolls quietly,
As the littlest birds flutter above the orange sky.
Two trees stand guard, rooted to the earth,
Their branches reach for rebirth.
Parallel to me, they mumble silent rumours,
Of resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
I wait in the company of nature’s song,
For the dance of destiny to prolong.
Each moment, a breath, a fleeting sigh,
In this quiet space where shadows lie.
