Unraveling the Paradox of Our Political World: A Call for Change

As we navigate the complexities of the 21st century, one context that persistently clouds human growth is the paradoxical world of politics. This paradox, while vexing to many, offers an invaluable perspective on how we can evolve and reform our existing system.

The paradox arises from the very foundations of politics– the formation, distribution, and exercise of power in public life. It is a tool for enabling democracy, advocating social justice, ensuring equal opportunity, and fostering economic growth. Yet, we often encounter an inherent contradiction: even as political systems aim to secure peace, justice, and equality, their function often exacerbates discord, inequality, and disruption.

This contradiction is pervasive across multiple global political landscapes. Despite the surge in contemporary ideologies promoting diversity, equality, and individualism, international politics are owned by a minority elite whose policies often widen the divide between the haves and have-nots. Flawed political practices often suppress deserving voices, increase social unrest, and encourage economic disparity.

Moreover, political systems worldwide continue to struggle for genuine democratic space. Democracy, in its true essence, is a rule ‘by the people, for the people’. However, the paradox lies in the manipulation of this power. Far too often, ‘people’ become mere voters, their participation…
